Jarrod Carman
There are people who talk about performance. And there are people who have lived it — on the mountain, in the boardroom, and inside the mind.
Jarrod Carman is the latter.
Jarrod's story doesn't begin in a conference room or a coaching office. It begins on snow. Over 30 years ago, a young Jarrod discovered that the mountain had a way of stripping everything back — ego, distraction, noise — and leaving only what was real. That lesson never left him. It became the foundation for everything he has built since.
After more than a decade as a professional snowboard instructor across two continents — shaping riders at Mt Buller in Victoria, Australia and in the powder fields of Colorado, USA — Jarrod developed a deep understanding of how humans learn, perform, and break through their own limitations under pressure. He saw, time and again, that the gap between a good rider and a great one was never just technical. It was always mental.
Armed with an Honours Degree in Psychology, Jarrod has immersed himself in the science of human behaviour, motivation, resilience, and peak performance. What he found confirmed what the mountain had also shown him: the mind is the ultimate terrain. Master it, and everything else opens up.
But Jarrod didn't stop at theory. He took everything he had learned — on snow, in study, and in life — and built a business. Over 15 years, he grew and scaled a multi-million dollar real estate operation, navigating the full spectrum of entrepreneurship: the early grind, the breakthrough moments, the pressure of leadership, the complexity of scaling, and the personal cost that high performance can carry when it isn't managed with intention.
Along the way, Jarrod became a sought-after business coach and keynote speaker, sharing stages at conferences across the real estate and business industries internationally. His message was always the same: mindset is not a soft skill. It is the skill. And it must be embodied — not just understood intellectually, but lived, practiced, and stress-tested in the real world.
Out of this journey, the RARE MINDS framework was born. Nine pillars — Rituals, Attitude, Relationships, Energy, Money, Influence, Nutrition, Diary Management, and Scaling — that together form a complete blueprint for high-performing, intentional living. Not a theory. A system. One that Jarrod has built, broken, refined, and rebuilt across three decades of real experience.
Rare Lines × Rare Minds is the fullest expression of that system. It is where the mountain meets the mind — a space where high performers, entrepreneurs, and adventure seekers come together to do the deep work in one of the world's most extraordinary settings.
Jarrod doesn't teach from the sidelines. He rides first, leads from the front, and brings everything he has to every room — and every mountain — he walks into.
If you're ready to stop separating the ride from the work, Jarrod is ready to take you there.
